Italian Renaissance explorers, such as Christopher Columbus, John Cabot and Amerigo Vespucci, inadvertently stumbled across America in their quests for a western passage from Europe to Asia. Well, this episode starts with a letter from America and ends in the Sistine Chapel, Rome, Italy.We hope one person in particular enjoys this one.

Episode 3: The Cup of Glory

The third episode is all about our recent inter-house hockey tournament and opens with a piece of descriptive writing - from which the episode takes its name - written and read by Thomas in Year 4. The episode features match commentaries and poetry from some Year 6 students and closes with a violin duet by Cole (Year 6) and Ellis (Year 3).We hope you enjoy it.

Episode 2: The D-Day Dodgers

Episode 2 opens with Year 6's rendition of 'The D-Day Dodgers' en route to Museo Piana delle Orme. This song was originally sung by Allied troops in Italy during WWII, as an ironic response to alleged claims by British MP Nancy Astor that they were avoiding the 'real' fighting in France and were having a holiday at the tax-payers' expense.Also, Year 6's wonderful home projects get some peer feedback in Part 2.
